Sign-ups/Evaluations

Evaluations consist of uniform sizing, height measurement and skill evaluation.  Each participate performs fundamental sport specific drills during the evaluation and is assigned a score.  These scores are used to assist Upward staff in drafting equal teams.  THIS IS NOT A TRYOUT, EVERY CHILD WILL BE PLACED ON A TEAM.  It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete your child’s evaluation.  If not already made, registration payment can be made during evaluations by check, payable to Upward, or by cash.  NOTE: Extra registration forms will be available at all evaluation dates.

Basketball and Cheerleading 2012

Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation.  Sign-ups/evaluations will be held as follows:

  • Saturday, Nov 12 at Meredith Middle School (4827 Madison Ave) between 9 am - Noon

  • Tuesday, Nov 15 at The Downtown Church (323 E Walnut St) between 6-8 pm (originally scheduled at Capital View)

  • Saturday, Nov 19 at The Downtown Church (323 E Walnut St) between 9 am – Noon

  • Thursday, Dec 1 at The Downtown Church (323 E Walnut St) between 5-8 pm

  • Saturday, Dec 3 at Walnut Creek Community Church (900 64th St) between 9 am – Noon

  • LAST CHANCE SIGN-UPS/EVALUTIONS: Saturday, Dec 10 at Walnut Creek Community Church (900 64th St) between 9 am – Noon

  • LAST CHANCE SIGN-UPS/EVALUTIONS: Thursday, Dec 15 at the Downtown Church (323 E Walnut St) between 5-8pm
